1. What we collect

Creators: your email (via Supabase auth), profile info you add (name, bio, photo, links), and payout details (encrypted). Senders: your email and the name you enter at checkout, your voice recording or written message, any photo you attach, and a device signal used to prevent abuse. We don't store card numbers — payments are handled by Dodo Payments.

2. How we use it

To run the service: deliver your voice notes and replies, process payments and payouts, show creators their inbox and analytics, prevent fraud/abuse, and send transactional emails (receipts, reply links). We don't sell your data.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. They receive the sender's email, name and payment details to charge the card and handle tax/compliance. We only store a payment reference and the amount — never card data. Creator payout details (PayPal) are encrypted at rest.

4. Audio & storage

Voice recordings, photos and video are stored on DigitalOcean Spaces. Message content is private by default and served through short-lived signed links; a creator can choose to feature specific voice or written notes publicly, but a fan's attached photo is never eligible for that. Photo and video replies are stored twice: the file the creator uploaded, which is never served to anyone, and the watermarked version that is delivered. QR/profile images are public.

5. Transcription & moderation

To power the inbox preview and keep the platform safe, audio may be transcribed and screened for prohibited content using OpenAI (Whisper + moderation). Written messages are screened directly, without transcription. Photos and a sample of frames from video replies are screened the same way; a fan's photo is not shown to the creator until that screening has run. Transcripts are visible only to the creator.

6. Sharing

We share data only with the providers that make Voizy work: Supabase (auth/database), Dodo Payments (payments), DigitalOcean (storage), OpenAI (transcription/moderation) and Resend (email). Each processes data only to provide their service. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal request, or to comply with anti-money-laundering, sanctions and fraud-prevention obligations and to protect our users and the platform.

7. Retention

We keep messages, replies and account data while your account is active. Unpaid/abandoned checkouts are purged automatically, and an upload rejected by our screening is deleted rather than stored. Payment receipts are retained as required for accounting and dispute windows. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.

8. International data transfers

Voizy is operated from Peru and serves users worldwide, so your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country (for example, our providers in the United States and the EU). We protect it in line with applicable data-protection laws, including Peru's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733) and, where they apply to you, the EU/UK GDPR and other local regulations. Wherever you are, you keep the rights described below.

9. Your rights & contact

You can access, correct or delete your data, and export it. Anonymous senders are never shown to creators — only "Anonymous" appears. For any privacy request, email [email protected].

10. Photos & video

A photo you attach to a message is stored privately and shown only to the creator you sent it to, after automated screening. It is never published on a profile, shown in a streaming overlay, or included in an exported video. If you send anonymously, your name stays hidden from the creator — but your photo is still shown to them, so it can identify you if it contains you. A creator's photo or video reply is watermarked with their handle before delivery, and metadata such as GPS coordinates from the original file is stripped in the process. Delivered media is served through links that expire after a few minutes; the un-watermarked original is never served to anyone. To have a photo or reply removed, email [email protected] from the address you used.
